Bookish merch is a big deal in our line of work - whether it's freebies on your table at events, well made, fully licensed (under you) custom merch you can add to your shop, wholesale to bookstores alongside your books, or use to create your own book boxes - readers love it. And what readers love, we want to deliver, especially when it can so easily raise our average sale amount, making our life and business as an Indie Author a more sustainable option for us.
If this is something you want, but don't know where to start with, I've got you covered! It's not fool proof by any means, but it's things I've learnt so far including the companies/manufacturers I've used, the contacts I have for them - and the products I've tried, especially ones I've given a go while trying to think outside the usual bookish merch items - info I hope will help you feel more confident in pursuing this for yourself.
I'm not a gate keeper, so if I have it or used it, I'll share it with you. And if I don't know, or at least not enough yet, I have zero problem admitting it and pointing you in the direction of someone I think does an amazeballs job at it, or where I'd go (or am planning to go) to learn more myself.
Keep an eye out for the posts! They're on their way.
